Hi, I’m Hadrien.

A 3D artist with over 15 years of experience in the industry, specialized in hard surface modeling.

It started in France, where I studied the full 3D pipeline for five years at Supinfocom, now known as Rubika. After graduating, I moved to London and spent four years working in advertising and children’s television as a 3D generalist, modeler and compositor. A move to Germany followed, and I have been based in Cologne since 2014.

Hard surface modeling is where I spend most of my time. I regularly work from CAD data, translating engineering geometry into clean Sub-D models, or preparing it for real-time engines when a project calls for it. Knowing how to read a CAD file and rebuild it with proper edge flow, without losing the intent of the original design, is a skill that took years to sharpen. I also model from visual references or entirely from scratch, when no CAD data exists at all.

I currently work at Elastique, where BMW has been a long-term client. My work with them has spanned press conferences and auto shows across some remarkable locations including Las Vegas, Tokyo, Beijing, Munich, Frankfurt, and Faro.

My main tools are Blender, Houdini and Unreal Engine. Having also worked with 3ds Max, Maya and Cinema 4D, I am comfortable picking up any 3D software quickly. I script regularly in Python to build tools and automate where it makes sense. Experience taught me where to invest the manual effort and where to let the tools do the work.
