Behind the scenes
Every element modeled from scratch, entirely in SubD.
Subdividable indefinitely, it holds up perfectly even in extreme close-ups.
In motion
A simple reveal animation.
For the second video, the car was initially rigged in 3ds Max. These are the original V-Ray renders, before a full makeover in Redshift.
Kyosho MP9
Another childhood memory brought to 3d.
I spent countless hours in my childhood building and playing with RC cars, always fascinated by how all those small parts worked together. What really captivated me was the mechanical side of it, the gears, the suspension, the drivetrain, each piece with its own purpose. Building the real thing was just as rewarding as driving it, because every screw I tightened taught me a little more about how the whole system actually worked.
